I was starting to get worried that this was already becoming stagnant.

Okay. So here's how this is gonna go down:

When posting, put your Faction name in bold and Size 3 tags. Also in bold, please include your character name underneath the faction.

This will help keep confusion to a minimum, as the conflicts will be happening in one thread per sortie. Both side's NPC's will be handled by me, and as stated earlier, I'll try and be as fair as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to post them here.

And with that, Posting is now open.

Perhaps. Perhaps not. All depends on how the mission goes.

Re: The Tiberium Wars Chronicles Sign-up, Character sheets, and OOC thread

Well I'll just leave this here anyway, PM me if I'm to be included.

Character Name: James Bryan

Allegiance: GDI

Sex: Male

Nationality: Irish

Designation: Medic, Lance Corporal, 22nd Infantry Division, 2nd Infantry Battalion, Rifle Company D, 3rd Platoon

Equipment: Special Issue GD-3 Rifle (5x30rnd mag, w/o Grenade Launcher), Standard issue Combat Knife, Composite Armour, Medic pack (5 bandages and 3 morphine auto-injectors, 3 Epinephrine Injectors)

Powers & Upgrades: Ability to treat wounded and incapacitated personnell

Age:34 (Born 2013)

Mental Status: While he had an aggressive attitude during his childhood, James pulled his socks up upon imprisonment. He became a very solid personality during his service in the military. He seemed to be a natural born leader, however he preferred to be subordinate as he didn't want the responsibility of possibly ordering men to their deaths. He generally maintains a serious disposition when in combat, but when on stand-by he can be very jolly and laid back.

Background: Having grown up in the Northern Ireland blue-zone, James hadn't had as much contact with the Brotherhood of NOD as most yellow-zone residents, or even the blue-zoners in the south of England. However, that didn't mean he had an easy life growing up. Crime was rife in the streets of Belfast, despite the presence of a rather large security detatchment. He grew up with a street gang who were opposed to the heavy policing who enforced curfews, and he participated in many hit and run attacks on these forces. However, at age 15, he and the entire gang were arrested in a raid conducted by GDI forces in April 2028. In prison, he had kept himself fit and healthy, and had steered clear of low-key Brotherhood prisoners. Upon his release in late 2035, he had practically no education, no money and nowhere to live, so he decided to join the GDI - A job, food, water, and a place to sleep. Since there was a shortage of medical staff he was practically drafted into becoming a combat medic, and although he disliked the absence of explosions and gunfire during training, he enjoyed it, and was a very willing soldier. Throughout his service in In mid-2044, he was involved in the quelling of a relatively large uprising, instigated by NOD supporters. When his NCO was wounded and in the open, he took the initiative. Telling the squad to cover him he dragged his NCO to cover, and using the expertise gained in training, saved him from certain death. With the squad disoriented, he took the lead and continued to battle throughout the night until most of the squad were running out of ammunition. By this time, however, reinforcements had arrived and they were ordered to withdraw. He was promoted to Lance Corporal and reccomended for transfer to the 22nd Infantry Division, landing in the Second Infantry Battalion, under the command of Lt. Fullerton.

Lol wut

"Hey, turn your turret left. Pretty sure I saw some folks over there. Could be NOD," she shouted.
She should've given a bearing or said "9 O'clock" instead of "Left" :D

Explanation on the AK-47 stuff: WW2 happened around the time in that universe that Operation Desert Storm took place in ours.

I don't think there's a need to explain a weapon designed in 47, and is still i common use around the world to this day, and probably won't see an end of service for many many years to come.

The thing about C&C: the Second WW sparked either universe.

Re: The Tiberium Wars Chronicles Sign-up, Character sheets, and OOC thread

Ah... well I'm interested to see how he deals with what just happened. He can a) die b) get seriously hurt c) teleport? d) do the impossible by hopping out of a tricky tank hatch like it was nothing, flip kick Lauren in the head, shoot her, and run off...

he better not do d, cause then I ain't playing no more. That's just fucking ridiculous. A would be silly too... unless he becomes a cyborg or something
